In this full-day, mini-retreat, you’ll be inspired to get creative and hands-on as you explore your “inner teacher” through making your own “Teaching Coat”. Using meaningful symbols, writings, quotes, memorabilia, and artifacts, you’ll create a wearable collage of your professional identity—a unique treasure to share and inspire dialogue with colleagues and students! As well, you’ll learn strategies for how to teach the matching student activity, “The Learning Coats Project”. Handouts, materials, and resources are provided.
