Tiffany Poirier is a teacher, a mom of three boys, a wife, and an animal-lover! She is also a national award-winning educational leader, author, speaker, gifted education specialist.
Tiffany believes that “every child has infinite gifts.”
A passionate advocate for inquiry-based learning and philosophy for children (p4c), Tiffany is the author and illustrator of the children’s critical thinking book Q is for Question: An ABC of Philosophy and a TEDxVictoria presenter with her talk on “The Power to Question”.
Tiffany worked as a teacher from 2006-2015 in the Vancouver and Surrey School districts, and then she enjoyed 7 years as a vice principal in the Greater Victoria School District.
She has now returned to her first love of teaching, with a grade 4 classroom in Victoria, BC. She received the the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2014.
